The Art of the Playbill

The Art of the Playbill is an exhibit of over 300 Playbills from 1883 to the present, concentrating on the work of artists both on program covers and in the interior pages of programs. Featured are the work of F. Earl Christy, Malcolm Strauss, Al Hirschfeld, James McMullan, and many, many other noted artists. The exhibit has been viewed in 5 states and continues to travel to colleges and universities throughout the country. I own and curate the exhibit, providing presentations related to the exhibit as desired.
