Deleting Your Browser Cache

If your web browser is slowing down or having issues entering information with web sites such as ANGEL, it's a good idea to periodically delete the cache, cookies, and browsing history. For details go to the ANGEL Help page Deleting Your Browser Cache

Google App Launcher

Many of Google Apps such as Gmail, Calendar, and Drive no longer have an upper left menu bar to choose other apps. Click the App Launcher in the upper right corner of your screen and choose the app that you want to start.

Google Apps Migration

Dear Elmira College Faculty,

A reminder that your elmira.edu mail, calendar events, and contacts will be migrated to Google Apps for Education on Wednesday, June 9. Please read below for details. To assist you with the migration and learning of Google Apps, Information Technology is providing the following training, assistance, and resources.

Workshops:

1. Thursday, June 10 from 9:30 am to 11 am - Introduction to GMail, Calendar, and Contacts

E-mail helpdesk@elmira.edu to reserve a place for this workshop.

2. Call in advance to schedule your own workshop for groups of four or more.

In person assistance

Call to set up an appointment, typically 30 to 60 minutes. Information Technology staff is available Monday - Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm and Friday from 8 am to 6 pm to provide in-person assistance.
