Outlook Calendar Import

  • You must be logged on to the PC that contains your Outlook Client, which contains a cached copy of your previous mail.
  • Start Outlook.
  • Choose File > Import and Export
  • Choose Export to a file
  • Click the Next button.
  • Choose Comma Separated Values (Windows)
  • Click the Next button.
  • Choose the folder to export from: Calendar
  • Click the Next button.
  • Browse to your Desktop and save the file as calendar_export.csv
  • Click the Next button.
  • Click the Finish button.
  • Set the date range for your calendar occurrences.
  • Click the OK button.
  • Log on to your Google Apps at Elmira College account and click the Calendar tab.
  • Choose Settings under My Calendar in the left sidebar.
  • Click the Import Calendar link.
  • Click the Browse button and select your exported file
  • To the right of Calendar your default calendar name (e.g. mtwain10@elmira.edu) should be selected.
  • Click Import and wait until the process is complete.
  • When prompted click the Close button. 
  • Return to your Calendar to check the newly imported events.
