Recording Video with an iPhone or iPad

Attention! Position the iPhone home button to the right when recording to avoid flipping of the video during the trimming or compression process.

If you intend to record your teaching video with an iPhone or iPad, we recommend the following equipment and techniques for creating an effective video for assessment.
  • Purchase an iPhone mount such as the Glif Adjustable. This will allow you to mount your iPhone to a mini or standard size tripod.  iPad users can use a Nootle Tripod mount, which requires a tripod with a two-way tilt.

  • Review the Teacher Channel video Using Video to Improve Practice
