The instructions on this page apply to your personal laptop connected to the wireless network in the Nathenson Computer Center.

Attention! Black-and-white printing is free but please print only the pages that you absolutely need to reduce waste.

Leopard (10.5) and Snow Leopard (10.6)
  • Choose Apple Menu > System Preferences or click the icon in the Dock if available.
  • In the Hardware section choose "Print & Fax."

  • Click the Add button (+ Sign), which is located in the middle left of the window, to add a printer.

  • Choose the IP Printer button along the top.
  • With "Line Printer Daemon-LPD" selected in the protocol line, type the IP address displayed on the Open Lab printer into the Address line. Type the name of the printer (Open Lab) into the Queue and Name lines.
