Network Troubleshooting

  • Ensure that you have an Ethernet Cable inserted into your computer and the wall jack. Ethernet jacks are colored purple to distinguish them from phone jacks.
  • Restart your computer and try again to log on and connect to the internet.
  • If you are unsuccessful select Apple Menu > System Preferences 
  • Click 
    in the Internet and Network Section
  • The AirPort button should be red to indicate that it is turned off. Click the Built-in Ethernet to select it.
If the Built-In Ethernet button is still red, contact the IT Help Desk at 1915 to fill out a Network Troubleshooting Form
  • Click the

  • Click the
    button.
  • If your settings are 10.200.x.x or 10.240.x.x open your Web
    browser (Firefox or Safari) and try accessing the Internet again.
    If you are asked to register with the Bradford Campus Manager
    security system follow the instructions. You will be asked to enter
    your username and password.
  • If you are still unable to access the Internet, please contact the
    IT Help Desk to fill out a network troubleshooting form.
