Gender and Society varies Gender is socially constructed, and this class focuses on how gender comes to have so much meaning in shaping our lives. 
Globalization varies Our world is increasingly connected. This class looks at the economic, social, and political systems that connect us and create our world. 
Introductory Sociology every term This course is an introductory look at the basic themes, areas, and theories of the field of Sociology 
Money, Work, and Social Class varies Social class structures create society, as well as significantly affecting our life chances. This class looks at the American Dream, while pointing out how individualism and Capitalism affect us and our society. 
Power and Institutions varies How do we pass the content of our society through the generations? This class focuses on social institutions such as the family, the education system, religion, and media as they shape our world. 
Qualitative Methodology for the Social Sciences Winter This class is the final and most important class for the major. Each student completes an original research project. 
Race and Identity varies Our society is stratified based on race. How does this socially constructed concept become so powerful? 
Social Change varies This class looks at the major social movements of the past century, and focuses on the theory and practice of social change. 
Social Inequality Fall This class focuses stratification based on race, class, gender, and sexuality 
Social Theory Fall The major theories of the disciplines of Sociology and Anthropology are the focus of this course.
