My courses include contemporary art history, metal casting, furniture design, and all levels of sculpture. I am active on campus and am the advisor for the Elmira College Equestrian Team and Club, Habitat for Humanity and Café Society, the Art and Anthropology club.
I support the arts by jurying regional art exhibitions and performing pro bono work. I exhibit my sculpture and furniture nationally and am continually being commissioned to design and make artwork. My research includes designing and making sculpture and furniture specializing in wood and metal fabrication, as well as casting metal and glass. In the photo above I am casting bronze at a "cool" 1920 degrees F with my students to the right.
